For every engagement shoot I do I really really really try to make them unique, creative, fun, and at least have one shot I have never done before. I definitely think I hit all those with groupon-shopaholic Brian and rock-climbing-guru Julie. I was ecstatic when I found out that they would have access to a yacht in Long Beach Harbor, like eye-bulged-and-jumping-up-and-down excited! I’ve done quite a few engagement shoots by now, so anytime I get a cool new location I get pretty excited.
This shoot lasted a little longer than normal for a few reasons. One, Brian and Julie are pretty amazing people. Two, we had a lot of cool locations. Three, I forgot to set my watch an hour back so I thought it was a lot earlier than it was. But at the end we ended the shoot a nice sit down lunch at Islands (burger joint) where I throughly indulged into a mouth-watering Hawaiian burger complete with pineapple slices in the burger. yummmmmm!!! Thank you guys! Congratulations!!! and ENJOY!

So all you viewers out there, this is what I would like for you to do. I want you go to through all the photos and inside todays blog post you’ll find a story. You’ll know when you see it. Try it figure out what’s going on. I’ll put the answer at the bottom.
If you have trouble reading Son’s sign below don’t worry I did too. It says “I love Maritza because I can by myself with her.
So this engagement session is basically the story of how Maritza and Son met! And the reason why there’s laptops in this shoot is because they met online! on eHarmony to be exact! You know what I love about this couple? They totally embrace the fact that they met online, and they’re truly a loving couple! Let me explain the photos we took at Cal Poly. Son was a member of eHarmony and he’s been on a few dates through and didn’t have any luck with it, so he decides that he’s going to leave it. But then! But then Maritza just signed up for it and she decides to give it a try so her first date off of eharmony was with Son and obviously it worked out really well! Maritza’s first eharmony date and Son’s last eharmony date. So awesome! I hope you enjoyed it! This is definitely THE most conceptual engagement shoot I’ve ever done in my life, and I love it! They brought props and everything!
